BackCountry Outfitters offers antelope hunts on strictly private lands within various ranches in northeast New Mexico. From our base in Raton, NM; we provide lodging, all meals, and private land permits. As with all of our guided hunts, our guides will handle trophy care for you.

One of our guides will accompany 2-3 hunters on a 3 day hunt through 18 square miles of ranch. While these hunts are designed for all ages and physical conditions, these ranches are in no way crowded. Having more than 4 hunters on a ranch at one time is a rarity.

Our guides have enjoyed a great deal of success in recent years. A number of our hunts have resulted in record bucks, with average horns at 14-1/2". Don't set your sights too low however, we've seen quite a few 16" bucks taken home!

Antelope licenses are guaranteed, and require no draw or landowner permits. You'll need to arrive a day prior (we recommend by 4pm). Bring your personal gear and license, we'll take care of the rest!
