Licensing Information

License - Order must include a copy of your driver's license and a Hunter Safety Card if born on or after January 1, 1949 for Colorado and are under 18 in New Mexico. Separate checks for license purchases is appreciated. For those that are required to have a Hunters Safety Card. Please be sure to bring your card with you when you come for your hunt. You are required to have the card on you at all times. 

Applications for Big Game Limited Licenses begin March 1, 2024. Deadline to apply for all drawing licenses is April 2nd 2024. Hunters who have preference points for elk and deer have an advantage and generally draw their licenses. Hunters without preference points for elk and deer still have very high odds to draw their licenses.

A qualifying hunting license, valid between March 1st- April 2nd must be purchased in order to apply for any 2024 big game license. A qualifying license includes: 1) an annual resident or non-resident small game hunting license; 2) an annual resident or non-resident spring turkey license; or 3) resident small game/fishing combination license (only available to residents).

For those that are required to have a Hunter Safety Card, please be sure to bring your card with you when you come for your hunt. State laws require you to have the card on you at all times.

Prices of hunts do not include hunting licenses, and harvested game processing fees. These are additional charges, for which the hunter is responsible. All hunts are horseback ridden to and from hunting camps. Guided camps only, horses are the main travel source for daily hunting.
