Piedra River Art Retreat

Join Professional Water Color and  Acryilic Artist Jamie Craddock of Buffalo River Art Gallery for an Open Air Art Series on the Piedra River and San Juan National Forest July 12th- 15th, 2024.

We will be exploring all Southwest Colorado Has to offer!  

Our Artist will be housed in our Newly Remodeled Cabins at the BackCountry Outfitters Ranch in Pagosa Springs Colorado.  

Day One: Check in is July 12th at noon, once everyone gets settled we will venture up on horseback to the overlook of Chimney Rock.  Giving you a oppertunity to sketch, capture pictures and/or explore our area.  

We will have a cookout for Artist and guests, and then let everyone settle for the next days adventure.  

Day Two: July 13th, we drive up to our trail head and explore the bridge over the peidra river, and have an oppertunity to hike or create.  Packed Lunches will be provided, and water.  

Evening events will be exploring Pagosa Springs, either in a group or on your own (dinner Not Provided this night)

Day Three:  July 14th Our Experienced Wranglers will take you up to Trail Head, From there we explore some of our most beautiful area's to create.  Again Lunch is provided with refreshments.  We will have a fire tonight, and cookout for all quests.

Day Four: July 15th We ride up the Peidra and explore some beautiful Meadows and Old Barns to paint/create, Lunch is Provided and Check out will be 4 pm.

Cost is $1500 per Artist

Guests Welcome for additional Fee

Price includes Partial Meals, Lodging, Horses, and Fee for Art instruction by Jamie Craddock.
