Service Description

Our Hossick Lake Summer Packs is great for the fishing families, and those who like a little extra adventure in the High Country. Amazing Scenery and Hiking, not to mention bring your fishing Pole! We offer this Camp in 2 Summer Pack Styles for Hossick Lake: Nomadic Camp for $1500 Per Person, this trip is perfect for the strong bodied outdoors person that is looking for the ultimate adventure. You will ride in on horseback, but then proceed with your excursion on foot. We leave on Thursday and return Sunday evening. Guests will sleep in a Walled tent with cots and padding, wood stove and all the creature comforts to keep you happy. Your Guide will have meals ready for you, all homemade we just make them a little easier for them to serve to our guests. All food and activities are included in the price, and can hold 2-6 people per camp. A guide who knows the area streams and lakes can help you navigate catching some of the rarest and most sought after trout in the Southwest. Extra days are available for a fee. Summer Drop Camps are perfect for the explorers and those who wish to wander the San Juan Mountain on their own. We bring you in on horse back, you have tents, cooking gear, fresh water, cots, and all the comforts of a well stocked camp. You just bring your Gear, Fishing Rod and food! and maybe a good book! $1200 Per Person Come vacation outside the ordinary! Hossick Lake Type - Drop or Nomad Elevation - 11,400 Ride - 4 Hour ride from Poisen Park Trailhead. Hossick Lake trail to camp, some exposed edges and continuous acent or decent. Description - Camp is directly under Hossick Lake in a very large bowl. The area is fairly open but covered with willows. The country is gradual elevation and very traversable from camp. Directly above camp Hossick Lake offers fishing opportunities for medium to large (even record sized cutthroat trout). There are epic daily hikes on the ridgelines above camps perfect for the adventuring couple, family, or group.
